Each stage you can select 10 cyclists with a maximum of 20 black points. You can only choose cyclists listed by Sportpools. You can change your stage selection until just before the start of the race. If the starting time of a race is 12:00, then the deadline will also be 12:00. If we can not determine the start time, then the deadline is 11:00 in the morning

Handicap
Each stage you can give a cyclist a handicap from 1 to 25. Handicap one stands for 1st place, handicap 2 stands for 2nd place, and so on until 25th place. If the cyclist with handicap X is placed in the top X of the classification of the stage or better, then he gets bonus points equal to the points associated with that place. If this cyclist is not placed in the top X of the classification of the stage, then he gets penalty points equal to the points associated with that place. You are not obliged to set a handicap for a cyclist.

Example
You choose Gilbert for Milaan - San Remo with handicap 2 and he ends up 3rd. You will get 29 points for the 3rd place and 32 penalty points because he did not reach 2nd place. Minus three points in total. If Gilbert ended up 1st place, then you would have scored 67 points. 35 points for the stage win and 32 points for reaching the handicap.

After a game has finished, a participant earns points for his cycling career and cycling year ranking. These points are calculated as follows:

5 times ( X+1 - overall-ranking)
Multiplied by
(X - overall-ranking) / X, where

X = total number of game participants.
overall-ranking = overall ranking in the final standings when all stages are finished.

An example:
For the game 500 people subscribed including John. After all stages are finished, John's ranking is the 100th place. According to the formula, John earns 5 x (500+1-100) x (500-100)/500 = 5 x (401) x (400/500) = 2005 * 0,8 = 1604 points for his cycling career and year ranking.

The participants who scored the most points in a stage, earn a jersey for their trophy room.
